Mada Clinics International receives no aid from the Malagasy or any other government
or aid agency.
Since its inception as a free clinic, Mada Clinics has been funded privately by those people involved and volunteers who spend time at the clinic plus others who are interested in making a difference to the people of Madagascar.

It is our intention to try to improve the financial situation of Mada Clinics International by seeking funding from international aid agencies and from other people who want to make a contribution to the Madagascan people. This will enable us to stay open, paying wages to the workers at the clinics and school and providing free medicines and schooling.
Mada Clinics International finances the clinics and schools by funding FISATA - a local NGO which was set up in 2010. FISATA has a local 5 member board and makes the day-to-day decisions at the clinics and school. Mada Clinics International advises FISATA on what projects are feasible within our budget and sends funds each month to pay wages, medicines, school supplies and project funding. Mada Clinics receives monthly financial and clinic reports and Dr Trangmar visits Madagascar regularly to ensure that the funds are used appropriately.
Your donation can provide:
$10 - medicine for 10 cases of STDs
$25 - education materials for the village school
$50 - 10 mosquito nets
$100 - all the medicines at one clinic for a month
We are also looking to purchase a new (or newish) Land Rover/Land Cruiser, to replace the 25 year old Jeep which the Clinic relies on now (when it hasn't broken down again!) at cost of between $20-30,000.
We are a UK Registered Charity (No 1129593). We need your help to ensure the clinic can keep on treating the people of Northern Madagascar!
Donations received by Mada Clinics International are used solely for Madagascar, with the costs of running the charity consisting mainly of web site maintenance and corporate, banking and accountancy costs (which totalled less than 7% of funds raised in 2010). All non-Malagasy personnel work on a purely voluntary basis.

If you are able to donate, please use the following link - which will take you to www.charitygiving.co.uk - a UK charity site which we found to be the best value method for collecting our online donations. If you do not live in the UK, you can still use the link and just select that you are not a UK taxpayer.
If for some reason you are unable to use the above link, then we do have a PayPal link below - but it costs us more money if you use that link - so less of your donation can be sent to Madagascar! Once at the PayPal page, you can put the amount you wish to donate in the box, then click 'Update Totals'. (You do not have to sign in with a PayPal account - just click on the left at the bottom of the page).
If you want further information or are interested in donating a large sum, please feel free to contact us directly via the Medical Director at Mada Clinics, Dr Philip Trangmar philip.trangmar@madaclinics.org
We need volunteers to help work in our village or to teach English or French in nearby schools.
